Juniper is Growing! We are seeking Crew Members for our Park Maintenance team. Park maintenance duties include prepping athletic fields for play, opening and/or closing the park, turning park facility lights on and off, trash pickup, and some landscape duties.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the maintenance facility at beginning of shift to receive written and/or verbal instructions on anything outside of the normal daily duties.
If opening the park, responsible for arriving at park on time, opening the gate, opening the facilities and bathrooms in the park.
If closing the park, responsible for locking the bathrooms, facilities, and gate to the park
Responsibilities may include daily trash pick-up and changing the liners in trash cans throughout the park.
Driving the utility vehicle and dragger.
Looking for safety issues on fields and top-dressing holes as needed with sand.
Assisting with the preparation of athletic fields including dragging clay, lining fields with chalk and paint, raking, moving bases, moving goals, etc.
Turning the park lights on and off as needed.
Some landscape duties such as mowing/edging fields, backpack spraying, etc.
Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
Must be able to communicate with city employees on staff at parks
Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
