The Crisis Assessment Specialist provides emergency behavioral health pre-screening, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral management to patients and their families. Responsible for assisting patients and their families in understanding and learning to cope with behavioral crisis and facilitate appropriate transition or admission planning for those patients needing placement in Behavioral health treatment facilities or programs. Assist families in resolving complex personal and environmental difficulties which interfere with effective social functioning. This position will collaborate interdepartmentally with all division of the hospital.
