Hoyleton Youth and Family Services is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Crisis Counselor Specialist in Fairview Heights, IL. We offer competitive pay ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits. This includes:

DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
Bachelor's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human service field
A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Exceptional engagement skills
Willingness and ability to be flexible with your schedule as needed
Ability to provide diagnostic, preventive, or therapeutic services
Previous Mobile Crisis Response Experience Is Preferred.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A CRISIS INTERVENTION SPECIALIST?
As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to respond promptly to behavioral health crises. You'll assess individuals' needs on-site and guide them toward appropriate care. Collaboration within our team environment is crucial as you work to meet the needs of those experiencing crises. Additionally, you'll provide brief therapeutic interventions and follow-up support to individuals engaged with our Mobile Crisis Response Team. Documentation is a key aspect of the role, as you'll complete screenings, assessments, and other necessary clinical documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll also assist clients in transitioning to other levels of service and connect families with community resources. Collaboration across departments is essential for suicide prevention practices and providing after-hours crisis collaboration when needed.
