Description
The Leuzinger High School Multimedia Careers Academy (MCA) is seeking a Videographer/Career Technical Education (CTE) teacher in the field of Arts, Media, and Entertainment
with specific focus on Design, Visual, & Media Arts. The Multimedia Careers Academy is a small
learning community that provides students a foundation in digital and media arts for 9th and
10th grades and then builds into three areas of focus: photography, video, or game production.
This position will provide instruction in courses that may include Drawing and Digital Art,
Introduction to Media Arts, Video Production I and/or Digital Video Production II, but will focus
on the development of the video production sub-pathway, the student-led television program, and supporting professional work-based learning opportunities with industry partners
Minimum Qualification(s)
3+ years professional experience in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment field
CTE: Arts, Media, and Entertainment credential OR
CTE credential eligibility (Teacher must enroll in CTE courses and commit to credential completion to be considered for employment)
Required Attachments
Copy/Screenshot of Career Technical Education (CTE): Arts, Media and Entertainment Credential from the CTC website (or proof of eligibility for the CTE credential)
English Learner Authorization (or eligibility for an Emergency CLAD or English Learner Waiver)
Copy of CBEST test result or equivalent (or acknowledgement to pass the CBEST in one year)
Copy of Official Transcripts
Letter of Introduction/Cover Letter
Resume
Minimum of 3 Letters of Recommendation dated within the last 24 months are required
