At Our Home, we are passionate about data excellence. As a Customer Data Specialist, your primary function is to review and analyze all proposed, relevant changes and/or new additions pertaining to the Customer and Vendor Master Data. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures set by the company.

The Customer Data Analyst will work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Customer Service to drive accurate data decisions that support Sales. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Master Data Manager to improve data enrichment processes.

Responsibilities

Review and Analyze Data Changes:

  • Evaluate proposed changes to customer and vendor master data
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to validate data updates

Create and Maintain NetSuite Global Master Data:

  • Manage customer and vendor data in NetSuite
  • Maintain accurate records related to customer hierarchy and pricing
  • Ensure data consistency across different areas within NetSuite

Support Training and Communication:

  • Train internal Our Home associates on functional master data standards, definitions, processes, policies, and tools
  • Own customer/vendor data dictionary
  • Foster understanding of data management best practices

Investigate Customer Accounts:

  • Research Ship To level, Sold To level, and Billing/Payer structure in NetSuite to enrich/update records
  • Understand the Partnership functionality of customer accounts
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Customer Service, Procurement, Accounting, Sales) to address data-related inquiries

Collaborate with the Master Data Manager:

  • Work closely with the Master Data Manager to enhance data quality
  • Implement industry best practices for data enrichment
  • Explore innovative ways to improve customer and vendor data

Ensure Data Consistency and Integrity:

  • Coordinate master data requirements across teams
  • Implement data quality checks
  • Maintain data integrity throughout the organization


Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in Master Data management/governance, customer/vendor data preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, including but not limited to VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other intermediate functions
  • Excellent research and follow-up skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment with an appropriate balance of urgency and quality
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Consistent application of policies and standards
  • Extremely strong organization skills and an ability to manage multiple high-priority projects at once
  • Ownership mindset and consistent delivery on commitments
  • A willingness to challenge our way of work to maximize our resources and enhance our success
  • Strong teamwork-based approach to projects and ability to influence that will enable projects to move quickly from start to finish
  • NetSuite ERP experience preferred
  • MDM or other master data related systems experience (CRM, PIM, DAM, etc.) preferred
  • SQL and/or Power BI experience is a plus
