Customer Service Associate

Job Description

Pittsburgh (Crafton) area company is in need of a Customer Service Associate.

Duties to include:

  • Provides consistent, professional, courteous, and high-quality customer service
  • Answer company phones and input accurate customer orders in high call volume office.
  • Enter daily orders in the order entry-system.
  • Work with management to prioritize shipments to meet all customer needs.
  • Handle all production issues in a way that doesn’t hinder production and delivery.
  • Select carriers and third-party services and negotiate contracts and rates.
  • Schedule all product distribution and coordinate shipments for all locations.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with interstate traffic laws and regulations.
  • Track and report shipment results.

Requirements:

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Basic math and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory software a plus
  • Seniority level
