Join a dynamic team as a Customer Service Specialist, supporting the efficient shipment of products across the Americas. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication and allocation of products, optimizing container usage and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage product shipments from manufacturing and distribution centers to our affiliates and direct customers globally.
Optimize container usage and transportation costs through efficient product allocation.
Ensure timely and accurate handling of shipment communications and related business aspects.
Monitor key performance indicators, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvement plans.
Maintain the master arrivals schedule to meet market demands and safety stock targets.
Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, elevate customer service, and reduce operational costs.
Maintain customer and shipping requirements, including system parameters and policies.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external supply chain partners.
Act as a customer advocate within the supply chain operations.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
A Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred; minimum Associate's Degree required.
1-2 years of experience in customer service, international supply chain operations, transportation management, or project planning.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach and a sense of urgency.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, global environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective information flow.
Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities to achieve cost-effective solutions.
Innovative thinking and initiative to identify and implement process improvements.
Familiarity with DRP and planning systems.
