As a Permanent Cyber Claims Attorney, you will be a key player in our dynamic, fast-paced team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the cyber insurance industry, providing expert legal advice on a wide range of complex and high-profile cyber claims. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of claims, including data breaches, network security failures, and cyber-attacks, and will play a critical role in shaping our company's response to the evolving cyber threat landscape. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your legal expertise and passion for technology to make a significant impact on our business and the wider cyber insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cyber claim litigation, including the review, evaluation, and resolution of complex claims.
• Collaborate with our claims team to analyze liability, damages, and coverage issues.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the resolution of cyber claims.
• Provide expert legal advice to our claims team, underwriters, and other stakeholders on complex cyber-related legal issues.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and their legal representatives.
• Collaborate with external counsel and manage their performance to ensure the effective resolution of claims.
• Keep abreast of developments in cyber law and insurance law and provide training to our claims team and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of our cyber claims handling policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Claims Attorney, with a focus on cyber claims handling.
• Proven experience in insurance claims, litigated claims, liability analysis, and claims resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of the legal, technical, and regulatory issues relating to cyber risk.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex claims simultaneously and to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Passion for technology and a keen interest in the cyber insurance industry.
