As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats to protect information systems, data and users. You will work closely with Security Engineers to collaborate on strategies, implement security measures, and maintain & improve the overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including endpoint security systems, such as Defender, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne , Cloud Security planes (AWS, Azure) , SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOAR (Splunk, Sentinel) tools.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely and accurate analysis, containment, and recovery.
Collaborate with the Security Engineering department to improve and implement security detection use cases & solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve the company’s security posture.
Generate regular reports on security incidents, and mitigation efforts.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Knowledge of MITRE security framework.
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, EDR, SIEM solutions.
Understanding of threats, networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Unix, MacOS ), and cloud security.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Great at communicating and connecting with others.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate SC-200, CISA and similar will be considered as an plus.
