Cyber Security Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and solutions to our clients on matters related to cyber security. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will assess vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and develop strategies to protect our clients’ data and systems from cyber threats. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' information assets.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Cyber Security Assessment and Strategy:
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop customized cyber security strategies and roadmaps based on assessment findings and industry best practices.
• Advise clients on implementing security controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture.
• Incident Response and Management:
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to quickly detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents.
• Lead or support incident response activities including containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Provide guidance to clients on legal and regulatory requirements related to data breaches and incident reporting.
• Security Architecture and Design:
• Design and implement secure architecture solutions for networks, cloud environments, and applications.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance detection and prevention capabilities.
• Conduct security reviews of third-party vendors and partners to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Security Awareness and Training:
• Develop and deliver cyber security awareness programs and training sessions for employees and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff on cyber security issues and concerns.
• Consulting and Client Engagement:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique cyber security needs.
• Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, and compliance to align cyber security initiatives with business objectives.
