TITLE: Data Analyst

LOCATION: Washington DC / Remote

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in IT, related field, or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 16 years

Job Description:

Would like a total of 9 years of experience. Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.

Complete Description:

The Data Steward will play a critical role in supporting the work of the client Program Administration, Executive Steering Committee, and client Stakeholders. Under the aegis of the client's Chief Data Officer, the client Data Steward is responsible for:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
  • Plans, coordinates and monitors project activities.
  • Develop technical applications to support users.
  • Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
  • Provides training for system products and procedures.
  • Performs application upgrades.
  • Performs, monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
  • Troubleshoots problems.
  • Ensures project life-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.


Skills:

  • Exp. planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities. Required 9 Years
  • leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures. Required 9 Years
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Required
  • Experience with ETL tools - Design, Develop, Analyze. Required 8 Years
  • Exp. with Curam software - V6 or higher (Database-centric work highly desired). Required 3 Years
  • Proven work experience working as a senior/lead data analyst for large data sets and multiple interfaces. Required 8 Years
  • Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts. Required 8 Years
  • Experience with Tableau, dashboard design, and development. Required 5 Years
  • Strong experience in Healthcare Data. Required 4 Years
  • Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions. Required 8 Years
  • Working knowledge of writing functional, technical, and performance requirements in a software development environment. Required 8 Years
  • Possesses hands-on Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience. Highly desired 16 Years
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio to develop flow diagrams/ process diagrams as well as knowledge of the full MS Office Suite. Nice to have
