Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Fort Collins, CO. Responsibilities:

• Data Analyst will apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues
• Works on problems of moderately complex scope
• Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input
• Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
• Follows established guidelines and interprets policies
• Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations
• Participates as a member of team of other data science engineers carrying out the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property
• In accordance with plan, performs/executes data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects
• As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations in accordance with overall plan
• Collects, records, and analyzes data using established protocols and processes; Communicates findings to other team members for review and feedback
• Assists in literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; Creates patent applications and supporting documentation
• Using scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools, and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data
• Collaborates with peers, junior data scientists and engineers, SMEs and external and internal research and product development partners
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Typically, 2-4 years of experience
• Understanding of design, scientific procedures and processes, and data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate research plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
