Are you passionate about shaping the future of data ecosystems? We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to be at the forefront of innovation, driving the architecture of our cutting-edge data platform. At Material Bank, you'll play a pivotal role in building a modern data infrastructure utilizing advanced technologies like real-time data streams and machine learning-powered insights.

In this role, you'll integrate various data initiatives into a unified schema, establishing a single source of truth across the organization. Your expertise will be critical in defining universal schemas, rationalizing domain data and structures, and empowering our team to make data-driven decisions. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to both B2B and B2C products, impacting high-profile projects that will shape the future of Material Bank.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform comprehensive data analysis to assess data quality and derive meaningful insights.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, ensuring all team members have a clear understanding of data definitions and structures.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to the executive team, highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Participate in efforts to rationalize domain data and data structures to support business objectives.
  • Utilize various tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, and Metabase for data analysis and visualization.
  • Support in the integration of data streams between Commerce Tools and Salesforce OMS using Kafka streams.
  • Support the development and implementation of the data catalog, tracking schema changes, data lineage, and metadata tagging.
  • Monitor and alert for data issues, ensuring proactive identification and resolution.


What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ Years of Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, and other relevant data analysis tools
  • Experience with data visualization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
