Our client is an international Online Video Platform (OVP) provider on a mission to help publishers monetize their own content to maximize revenue through content automation and video recommendations using AI and Machine Learning.
Trusted by some of the leading publishers globally including Nasdaq, Hearst or Vice Media and backed by visionary venture capitals such as Walt Disney Company or 83North, this company has a shared passion for reimagining the video space.
As the first US-based Data Analyst you will:
Work cross-functionally with global Operations, Data, R&D, Finance and other teams
Define and monitor KPIs and analyze large amounts of data by providing actionable insights into all areas of the business
Design, build and maintain insightful and call-to-action dashboards, reports and metrics as well as monitoring and maintaining the integrity of the data
Present findings to key stakeholders in the company
Manage multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Requirements:
6+ years' experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst- both quantitative and statistical
Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau and Looker
Business-oriented mindset
High proficiency in SQL and Excel
Experience with A/B testing methodology and evidence of successful business impact through testing
Excellent communication skills to convey complex quantitative analyses clearly and visually appealingly to international audiences to inform decision-making
World-class problem solving skills as well as a can-do mentality, critical mindset and prone to debate in order to reach the best possible outcome
Bonus points:
Previous experience in a high tech company and AdTech in particular
Familiarity with monetization optimization strategies
Knowledge of Python with data analysis capabilities
Experience with Big Data tools: BigQuery, Athena etc
This is a hybrid position with offices in Manhattan and salary goes up to $115,000 p.a. for the right candidate. In addition to that, competitive benefits and great opportunities for career progression are offered.
