We are seeking a Data Analyst/Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will transform data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.
Responsibilities
Perform complex data analysis that goes beyond basic reporting (e.g., predictive analytics, trend analysis).
Design, build, and support real-time dashboards or alerts to monitor key metrics.
Collect, process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
Use data analysis tools and software for data analysis and reporting. Primarily Power BI and other Power Platform Applications.
Generate regular reports and respond to ad-hoc report requests.
Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
Work with the team to set and achieve goals and objectives related to data and analytics.
Design and develop ETL processes and understand data warehouse methodologies.
Design, build, and support data visualization dashboards.
Requirements:
Training or experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
Knowledge of Air Force Reserve Aircrew or Personnel data systems
Understanding of databases, software, or platforms used for data storage and management.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, and data mining.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, Power BI etc.).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
