Key Responsibilities
Monitor key funnel and loan performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to evaluate the performance of our products and understand the root causes of changes
Establish key performance metrics and develop automated reporting and alerting using SQL and Python
Build predictive models to optimize lending decisions by using advanced statistical modeling and simulation techniques
Conduct analysis using advanced data analytics to evaluate trends in funnel and loan performance and provide optimization strategy recommendations to improve metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement funnel or underwriting strategy changes, monitor releases, and perform impact analysis
Design A/B testing for models and underwriting strategies, evaluate impact, and provide recommendations
Requirements
Bachelor's in math, statistics, computer science, engineering or related field
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with data analytics and statistical modeling
Data analysis experience with python
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with key attention to detail
Ability to manage projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis to senior management in an organized and thoughtful manner
Additional Pluses, But Not Requirements
Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., math, statistics, analytics, quantitative finance, engineering, or other quantitative fields)
Experience with BI reporting tools
Experience with specialty finance or Fintech
