Job Description

The Market Consumer Intelligence (MCI) team provides business and market intelligence, insights, forecasting, and competitiveness developing actionable recommendations to drive customer value and meet business goals and drive business decisions across the entire LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics portfolio (Christian Dior Perfumes, Givenchy, Guerlain, Benefit Cosmetics, Kendo Brands – Fenty, KVD, Ole Henriksen to name a few). The team works across US and Canada.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience manipulating data to uncover insights and drive action. The candidate should also have the ability to distill information, communicate clearly, and ensure that behavioral analytics and insights are embedded in decision making. Knowledge and understanding of retail is a plus.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Creation of data warehouse/database from multiple data sources; clean, merge, automate and quality check data
  • Design, analyze and run standard weekly / monthly / quarterly reports and guide the creation of custom reports and dashboards to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive the business.
  • Conduct data analytics using tools/software and other business intelligence (BI) tools to access data and provide insights into customers who shape and support actionable cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT / technology teams on data, automation and reporting requirements to develop data / analysis and reporting capabilities. Responsible for data quality assurance.
  • Responsible for distilling in-depth insights from complex analyzes and delivering effective presentations to senior management.
  • Provide retail, digital, merchandising, and marketing teams with consumer information and analytics that provide meaningful, actionable, data-driven opportunities for consumer-centric growth across product categories, channels, and customer segments.
  • Ability to self-service, compile and consolidate data into a singular view that is consumable by leaders and teams.
  • Ability to analyze and identify trends across the portfolio, KPIs and operational aspects that drives action and change.

Qualifications

  • 3-5years research experience – Classic CPG/beauty experience/retail/consultant is preferred.
  • Solid analytical skills and strategic thinking with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions in complex environment
  • Ability to take multiple data-inputs and be comfortable with large data sets and synthesize into easy to understand and actionable insights. Not afraid to get their hands dirty in data
  • Strong appetite for data and digital innovation. Must have
  • Familiarity and comfort with traditional market and consumer research sources (Nielsen, Circana, GNPD, Ipsos, Euromonitor, Mintel, etc.)
  • Strong team player, collaborative, curious
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with innovative thinking and proactive approach
  • Entrepreneurial start up mindset, agile, self-motivated, confident and out-going.
  • Organized and good with time management, with a strong ability to multi-task and adapt.
  • Proficiency in Excel (R, SQL, Python or technical equivalent is a plus).
  • Knowledge of GCP, Anaplan, AX systems is a plus.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $115,000-125,000.
