Data Security Business Analyst

TEKsystems is looking for a Data Security Business Analyst to join our team. They will be responsible for collaborating with engineering teams to define technical requirements and specifications for data security solutions, creating documentation: developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data security projects, including technical specs, user guides, and operational procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Broad understanding of the insurance industry, its products, practices and operations.
• Broad knowledge of the system development life cycle, and technology alternatives; understanding of interface design and user centered work methods.
• Strong knowledge of InfoSec projects, data security is preferred.
• Working experience with ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
• Solid oral and written communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
• Solid client and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with PMs, stakeholders and IT staff.
• Prior experience working with vendors and MSPs is highly preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, M.S Project Planning and other business-related software systems.
  
  
  

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Typically a minimum of four years experience in business analysis, or other related experience, i.e., accounting, finance, insurance operations, or computer science with prior experience identifying and documenting business requirements.
