Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect

Job Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing, database design, and architecture, with at least 2 years in a lead or architect role. Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration techniques.
    • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
    • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
    • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements. Willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to data warehousing and analytics.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management methodologies and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines and budgets.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
