We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Lead or Project Manager to join our team, working on a key engagement with Bank of America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with Bank of America's strategic objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a cross-functional team, including developers, testers, and business analysts.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for Bank of America stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Risk Management
Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management as necessary.
Budget Management
Monitor project budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and within approved limits.
Prepare financial reports and provide forecasts to senior management.
Quality Assurance
Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Conduct project reviews and retrospectives, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management or delivery leadership, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
