Department Head of IT

Overview

Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an experienced, energetic, and passionate Department Head of IT to join the leadership team.

The Department Head of IT is responsible for:

• Overseeing and directing the delivery of IT services to all the firm employees, including all desktop, network, and cloud infrastructure, as well as maintaining a strong relationship with our Infrastructure partners.
• Works closely with the Leadership team to establish project priorities, creating reliable, secure, and cost-effective information technology infrastructure to support the firm’s objectives.
• Collaborating with business colleagues to inform their strategy development and jointly develop “technology forward” approaches to maximize impact, in alignment with the firm’s vision.
• Managing, training and developing the IT team through SLAs and KPIs.
• Leading the development and implementation of the firm’s technology strategies, systems, and processes.
• Cyber security, information security, compliance of IT systems, maintaining a Disaster Recovery Plan, and ensuring all company assets are protected at all times.
  
  

A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of IT and technology trends, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for driving innovation and collaboration. The Department Head of IT will manage the information technology resources and projects, while acting as a liaison between business partners, vendors, and consultants.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Networking, cyber security, infrastructure, cloud computing, system development lifecycles, and project management.
• Deep understanding of service management and/or helpdesk processes and execution.
• Management and supervisory skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  
  

The total annual compensation for this position is $ 150 ,000 - $ 200 ,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
