This position is and will require field assignments throughout the United States.

This position opens the door to engaging, high-profile and impactful environmental remediation projects, starting with an exciting groundwater remediation system. You'll witness the entire lifecycle, starting with pre-construction planning and culminating in system commissioning. And you won't be alone – our on-site staff, subject matter experts, and your supervisor will guide and mentor you, ensuring your growth every step of the way. While working in this position, you will gain valuable field experience that will position you on the career track to health and safety program management. Salary

  • $110,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Travel

  • 75% may require support of projects in the continental US for the first two years; approximately 25% after.

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of cumulative experience over the past 10 years in occupational health and safety within the construction and environmental remediation sectors. Currently possess a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential or ability to obtain the CIH credential within a 36-month period. Working knowledge and application of regulations from EM 385-1-1, 29 CFR, and 40 CFR. Experience in reading and understanding design drawings and specifications. Experience in preparing Health and Safety reports, safety audits, and employee education. Ability to work efficiently, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Experience in construction or remediation work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Navy Facilities Engineering Command or other DoD and federal entities. 29 CFR HazWOpER 40-hour worker training and annual OSHA HAZWOPER refresher course and additional safety training highly desired
