Sweet James is a growing, fast-paced, Orange County law firm. We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and fast-moving Designer and Creative Director to join our team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing across multiple formats and platforms, including video, with a strong emphasis on outdoor space design such as billboards. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all designs align with our brand and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creative Leadership: Lead the creative direction of all design projects, ensuring a cohesive and innovative visual identity across all platforms and formats.
• Design and Development: Create compelling designs for a variety of media, including digital, print, video, and outdoor spaces like billboards.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and that all designs meet the highest quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, and other teams to develop and execute creative strategies that support business objectives.
• Brand Consistency: Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Ensure all designs align with the brand's visual guidelines and messaging.
• Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve design processes.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and present creative concepts that meet their objectives.
• Branding and Marketing: Understand and apply principles of branding and marketing to all design work, helping to create and reinforce a strong brand identity.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and creative direction, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across multiple formats and platforms.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  
  

Skills:

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
• Strong experience in video production and editing.
• Demonstrated ability to design for outdoor spaces, particularly billboards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking abilities.
• Ability to lead and inspire a creative team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Branding and Marketing Expertise: Understanding of branding and marketing principles, with experience creating brand guides and ensuring brand consistency.
