Digital Editor

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Job Type: Contract to Perm

Compensation Range: $35 - 40 per hour

Cella has partnered with a philanthropic organization in their search for a dynamic Digital Editor to join their team for a contract to permanent opportunity! This role is ideal for an Editor who has experience editing and writing content for emails, ads, articles, headlines, and newsletters.

This is a fully onsite job, in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and write engaging headlines, landing page copy, emails, and paid ad copy.
• Build and publish articles on the website.
• Work within their specific Grass Roots line of business - Americans for Prosperity.
• Focus on campaign emails, posting blogs.
• Work with established partners of our client vs. lead generation.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Preference will be given to candidates with a background in editorial or journalism copy.
• 3-5 years of editing and writing experience, as well as understanding and experience with SEO optimization.
• Experience with a CMS tool like Wordpress or Drupal is required.
• Experience managing an editorial calendar and projects is a plus.
