Position Summary

As part of LVRN’s Marketing Department the Digital Marketing Manager oversees digital marketing initiatives for LVRN Records and its international Artist Roster. The role is responsible for building digital and social components of the artist's overall marketing plans, overseeing and approving digital plans from partners, and identifying key marketing moments to amplify. The position acts as a point of contact with marketing managers, artists, partners and management regarding digital strategy, influencer campaigns, strategic collaborations, content calendars and overall campaign opportunities. This full-time salaried exempt role works in concert with the overall strategic direction of the record label and reports to the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing.


The position can be based in Atlanta or Los Angeles and work out of the companies offices.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop full scope digital marketing plans to drive fan engagement across all online platforms and an overall digital creative vision for established and emerging artists with Sr. Director.
  • Build budget, and effectively execute paid media campaigns with Sr. Director.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sr. Director and advise on narrative and direction of digital strategy.
  • Be part of the core team responsible for the overall artist branding and artist development.
  • Coordinate social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising & CRM campaigns for assigned artists.
  • Work with in-house and/or third-party content creators to conceptualize & complete short-form content for social media, etc. (while identifying new creators on an on-going basis).
  • Help maintain relationships with key digital promotional partners and work with them on promotional activities, content creation, exclusive events and other partnership opportunities.
  • Assure all current and any new digital partners get the assets and attention they need to execute effective promotions.
  • Spot digital trends, understand new technologies and social media behavior and align these with business objectives to create new and innovative marketing opportunities and solutions.
  • Monitor analytics on streaming platforms, understand the consumption patterns and craft tailor made campaigns to maximize music consumption.
  • Provide in-depth analysis measuring the success of campaigns/tools and communicate the results to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct audience research, set content goals, define topics and formats to grow artist brand awareness.
  • Continuously improve content and tools, monitoring metrics and consumer feedback to raise the bar.
  • Weave compelling narratives into every piece of content, aligning audience desires with artist values and performance metrics.
  • Manage all LVRN artist YouTube channels, developing posting schedules and crafting engaging copy.
  • Plan and develop content strategies for YouTube Shorts that reflect artist brand identity.
  • Manage LVRN social media pages and YouTube channel, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Communicate with artist management/artist on a regular basis to convey overall digital strategy and present opportunities as they arise.
  • Contribute to the design and creation of the artist's digital assets, including photo and video content.
  • Identify viral, digital word-of-mouth marketing opportunities with the goal of driving traffic, fan acquisition, and creating brand awareness for artists.
  • Work with visual and art departments on digital content creation, optimization, and scheduling.
  • Partner with internal departments (including but not limited to marketing, Streaming, A&R, press, and touring) to execute effective interactive strategies.
  • Create narratives and headlines for artists and their content that aligns with overall strategy and helps build a story or gain virality.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive digital marketing experience at a record label or other related media companies.
  • Advanced digital marketing and brand identity expertise with a strong eye and understanding for identifying an artist’s brand potential.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the music industry and previous experience working with artists, labels, and DSP partners.
  • Project management skills with the ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects, deadlines and launches at once.
  • Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities, as well as in the work environment, and have the ability to be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks.
  • Advanced digital content creation skills with advanced knowledge of all social platforms.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • A team player that is not afraid to roll up sleeves to help out the team.
  • Social Media Obsessed: Demonstrated knowledge of and professional experience with social platforms.
  • Strong creative technical skills and experience working in Canva and other pitch sheet creating software.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft & Google Suite of products.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial and fast-paced.

  • Highest degree of ethics and work ethic.


Compensation, Benefits and Work Environment

A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered to the successful hire. Depending on job-relevant knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, network, education and location of the final hire, we anticipate the salary will be at an annual rate in the range of $60K to $70K.
