SYSTEMTEC is seeking a full-time Data Center Network Engineer professional to join our team. This person will be responsible for core network environment and data center to data center communications.
Required Qualifications Of The Data Center Network Engineer
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
Expert in data center core networking to the ability that they can teach/mentor a junior network engineer.
Minimum of 12 years networking experience
CCNP and 3+ years OR someone in between the CCNP and CCIE level of knowledge without certification.
On hand technical knowledge or networking systems, protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies.
Experienced with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience working in an enterprise switched and routed environment.
Working technical knowledge of Cisco 9k switches and Cisco Nexus Switches.
Responsibilities of the Data Center Network Engineer:
Design / Architect enterprise level networks
Responsible for core network environment and data center to data center communications.
Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization’s LANs, WANs, and wireless deployments.
Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of division networks.
Monitor system capacity to determine its effect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demand.
Work Location: Richmond, VA- Hybrid with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
