Location: Role is remote, but ideal candidate is based in the Greater Chicago Area or the surrounding region

The Brand Innovators Strategy Group (BISG) serves as the in-house advisory and consulting group at Brand Innovators. Our team helps brand marketing executives stay on top of the latest trends, technologies, and solutions across the marketing landscape so they can succeed in their roles. BISG serves as a trusted resource to help marketers navigate the ever-evolving marketplace by recommending solution providers, adtech & martech companies, boutique agency partners, and content platforms to evaluate. Our mission is to serve and unify the broader marketing community in efforts to advance the industry and deliver unprecedented value to brands and partners.
The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Director Midwest will focus on building and expanding relationships with brand marketers across the Central US region, including Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis and the surrounding areas. The Director will be responsible for meeting and on-boarding marketing executives into the BISG Community and then managing the many advisory services offered to them.
Candidates must have a strong business development acumen and a keen understanding of the tactics, channels and disciplines of the marketing and media mix, including the ability to ideate and advise senior brand marketers on their business challenges and marketing objective. Candidates should also be comfortable providing strategic recommendations from a portfolio of solution providers across digital advertising, brand strategy, influencer marketing, creative & content development, programmatic, performance marketing, as well as broader AdTech and MarTech solutions.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years' experience in management/consulting/sales/BD or relevant roles.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive business and exceed revenue goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment and work with several internal stakeholders and various external partners
- Strong networking and demonstrated relationship building skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to Brand Innovators events in the Midwest region and East Coast markets.
- KPI oriented go-getter with the drive to meet and surpass personal benchmarks and team goals
- Familiarity with CRM and Google Suite products.
