The Director – Corporate Development Finance manages extremely complex financial projects in Corporate Development to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization. This leader directs strategy, organizational planning and operational leadership to effectively manage significant growth initiatives involving mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, alliances and other strategic partnering transactions.

This is the ideal position for an individual with an extensive background in financial modeling of strategic investment opportunities, including forecasting income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, NPV, IRR and more. A caregiver who excels in this role, will:

  • Develop and manage multiple complex financial assessments of all significant enterprise strategic partnering transactions and reports findings and recommendations to department Executive Director, along with all levels of senior leadership as necessary.
  • Work closely with Strategy Office, Legal, Tax, Corporate Finance, Clinical Institutes and other internal and external subject matter experts to develop comprehensive business plans, risk assessments and sensitivity analyses.
  • Lead and support team to execute strategic and complex departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Demonstrate strategic and very high-level knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements relative to operations and ensure compliance.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of organizational performance improvement initiatives as advised by the Executive Director.
  • Lead ad hoc assignments involving complex financial modeling and selected topic deep dives.
  • Provide supervision and leadership for all manager level corporate development staff.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
  • 8 years of functionally related experience in Finance, Accounting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures or business planning
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, along with meeting firm deadlines and appropriate utilization of support staff
  • Possess thorough understanding of financial complexities for strategic partnering transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, scenario development, valuation, NPV/IRR and risk assessment

Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managed Accountant (CMA) certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $53.90

Maximum hourly: $82.19

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
