The Director, in addition to their regular clinical duties, is responsible for the management of their region’s Counseling programming and clinical development. The Director supervises, mentors, and coaches team members while modeling and upholding Westside’s values. The Director ensures the consistent implementation and effective management of clinical policies and procedures. The Director is responsible for the clinical performance, outcomes, and productivity of the Counseling team. This position will be expected to carry a small caseload and conduct evaluations as needed.
Essential Functions
Supervises the implementation of Counseling programs and coordinates the day-to-day operations within their region and clinics.
Manages and develops the counseling team, providing clinical and professional support.
Establishes staffing needs and schedules ensuring there is adequate staffing.
Monitors and ensures staff assigned to clinical programs meet the productivity requirements budgeted for respective positions.
Identifies productivity trends and collaborates with clinical leaders to appropriately manage fluctuations.
Stays current clinical procedures and protocols.
Interviews prospective candidates in their assigned region
Hires, evaluates and supervises clinical staff.
Oversees onboarding of new therapists in region, creates and manages onboarding schedule in collaboration with clinic manager.
Conducts offboarding interviews with direct reports.
Recommends opportunities for business development and service line expansion.
Conducts regular 1:1 meetings and check-ins with counseling team members to enhance engagement, maintain productivity, and optimize clinical outcomes.
Oversees productivity and CPT code use for the counseling team.
Conducts end of year performance reviews for direct reports in region
Performs initial evaluations of new clients.
Conducts observations, implement long-term and short-term interventions and individualized treatment plans.
Provides detailed documentation and records of evaluations and treatments.
Facilitates parent/caregiver conversations.
Achieves and maintains a targeted caseload of 7-10 hours of therapy per week.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree from a CACREP-accredited university
LCSW or LCPC licensure in the state of Illinois
Minimum 6 years of direct clinical experience in the discipline
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
