JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting the research, purchase and implementation of a new Sales and CRM platform. This role will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a new enterprise business system. The successful candidate will play a key role in Identifying process efficiency and new features of the Enterprise System tool to support the business process needs of the Sales team and company overall. This role is a key “go-to” person for the company that helps to facilitate the partnership between internal stakeholders and vendors to aid in the design, development, and implementation of the Business System platform. The position will require a strong understanding of the Business System capabilities, infrastructure, data architecture, relational database design, programming and development, along with limitations as processes are developed, refined or re-invented with Enterprise System technology. This role should influence the broader cross-functional system infrastructure to help aid in future Enterprise System functionality and process efficiency. A key component to this role is owning the management of new releases and collaborating with business users to identify opportunities to utilize the Enterprise System to achieve overall company goals. This person will provide thought and organizational leadership to find solutions to workflow and business processes to help the company and system run at optimal levels.


LOCATION: Position will be remotely based and report to the Senior Vice President.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for supporting and leading the research, evaluation, purchase and implementation of a new Enterprise System platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop detailed understanding of company business workflow, core operating functions, processes and operating practices. Develop insights of current system gaps, inefficiencies and functionality that can be improved with new technology and enhance overall business performance.
  • Lead the integration, development, programming, design, configuration, testing and deployment of a new Business System which supports existing core functionality and provides a significant upgrade to our current CRM and sales platform capabilities.
  • Ensure data integrity, workflow processes, architecture and reporting connectivity in related and downstream systems and processes.
  • Develop technical RFP, distribute to appropriate vendors and lead the internal evaluation of new business platforms with key stakeholders.
  • Manage and Optimize the Business System platform – reporting needs, user experience, programming or operating issues, day-to-day maintenance, long-term maintenance, upgrades, releases, environment management, architecture, governance, testing, security, and release management. Ensure all data and business process governance and best practice guidelines are followed prior to system design and implementation.
  • Lead the development of Business System reports, analytics, and KPI dashboards to support and monitor business performance, sales activity, client and member key performance metrics.
  • Maintain ongoing understanding of new business system functionality, apps and tools that could have a positive impact on business processes and lead the conversation with internal and external teams to vet potential implementation.
  • Monitor industry and technology innovations, make recommendations that support growth of company business model.
  • Lead the design of data integration to connect Business System to other company systems or data warehouses.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of effective documentation of business processes, SOPs, test cases and written user guide support training materials.
  • Lead the Business System training and new user on-boarding to increase product knowledge, train new users and maintain Admin certification.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure the Business System supports each department’s initiatives and integrates with existing departmental tools and platforms.
  • Manage email campaign capabilities within the Business System, including segmentation, automation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations related to email marketing and customer data.


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field is required. MBA preferred.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5+ years in a business system technology leadership role required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing hospitality industry data solutions, business models preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, JSON, SQL and Python.
  • System administration, business analytics, data management, and project management.
  • CRM and Database Expertise
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Experience in data migrations, business platform transitions, and integrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of data protection and compliance standards.
  • Strong programming skills to develop custom features and functionalities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business needs and challenges into technical solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and action business and user requirements.
  • Ability to produce reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from the user community, management, vendors, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong leadership skills.
