Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Strategist and Sales Consultant to join our team. This role involves supporting the sales process and developing comprehensive digital strategies for our clients. You will report directly to the president and work closely with our leadership team to drive client strategies and agency growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Process: Lead the lead generation and pitching process as well as closing deals. Understand client needs and articulate how our services can meet their goals.
  • Hustle for Leads: Attending conferences, constant and consistent pursuit of new clients. This is part of your DNA. You love helping clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various channels, emphasizing media spend optimization. You will work with our various teams to develop these strategies.
  • Prospect Communication: Maintain strong relationships with prospects, providing regular updates and strategic advice to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Ecommerce Expertise and Media Strategy: Utilize your deep understanding of ecommerce businesses to identify growth opportunities. It’s particularly important to have an understanding of media planning across SEM, paid social, and marketplaces – specifically Amazon.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our affiliate team, media teams, and creative team to ensure cohesive and effective strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Utilize data to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Consultation & Audits: Provide ongoing consultation with clients, communicating recommendations. Support in-depth audits to optimize client performance.


Familiarity with Sales Tools:

  • CRM Tools: Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage client interactions, track sales pipelines, and ensure seamless communication.
  • Prospecting Tools: Proficient with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo to identify potential clients, gather detailed information, and streamline the lead generation process.


Familiarity with Digital Marketing and Advertising Tools/Platforms:

  • Analytic Tools: Experience with analytic tools like Triple Whale to measure campaign performance, track key metrics, and derive actionable insights.
  • CRO Tools: Skilled in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) tools to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and maximize the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  • Skai or Similar Tools: Familiar with Skai (formerly Kenshoo) or similar advanced marketing analytics and campaign management tools to optimize multi-channel digital marketing strategies.
  • Affiliate Networks: Familiarity with major affiliate networks such as Impact, AWIN, Rakuten Partnerize, and Commission Junction to effectively manage and optimize affiliate marketing programs.
  • Amazon Tools: Proficient with Amazon tools like Cobalt to gain insights into market trends, competitive analysis, and performance metrics.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of ecommerce.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing paid search, paid social, Amazon, and affiliate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from data.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred experience in the following industries: Automotive, Beauty/Personal Care, Fashion, Health and Wellness, Home/Garden, Non-Profits, Sports, and Outdoor.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
