The Role

As the E-commerce Director for Performance Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our consumer experience and paid media strategy across the e-commerce landscape. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring that our performance marketing efforts are aligned with our overall business goals, driving incremental growth and optimizing the consumer journey. You will help build and lead our consumer experience and paid media teams, collaborate closely with e-commerce account teams, and lead our integration with retailer media networks to establish thought leadership and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive consumer experience and paid media strategy across e-commerce platforms, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Drive the integration of performance marketing into overall e-commerce strategies, optimizing for growth and incremental consumption.
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive measurable results.

Team Management

  • Oversee and guide the consumer experience and paid media teams, ensuring best-in-class execution and continuous performance improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, supporting their professional growth and alignment with company values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to performance marketing across all channels.

Collaboration & Optimization

  • Work closely with e-commerce account teams to refine and optimize strategies aimed at driving online growth and consumer engagement.
  • Leverage data and insights to continually refine marketing strategies, ensuring they are effective and aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure seamless execution and optimization of performance marketing initiatives.

Retailer & Media Network Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailer media networks, driving strategic collaboration and thought leadership.
  • Lead joint business planning efforts with key media partners, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Represent the company as a strategic partner in media network engagements, driving value for both the company and its partners.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Develop and implement robust KPI tracking and reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness of performance marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly review performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities are data-driven and aligned with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong background in e-commerce and paid media.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful consumer experience and paid media strategies.
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with deep expertise in performance marketing and e-commerce.
  • Proficient in data analysis and KPI tracking, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
