The Director, Global Product Marketing Hematology/Urinalysis Solutions for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing Beckman Coulter’s Heme/UA product launch strategy and all commercialization activities for new product launches. Develop specific marketing plans and activities to drive product awareness and Beckman Coulter thought leadership. Lead a team of global product marketers in the commercialization execution of value proposition, market research for segmentation, competitive activity, product messaging, and pricing strategies that drive product adoption. Work with a cross functional team to drive implementation of tactical marketing programs and market development activities.
You will be a part of the Global Product Marketing Leadership team and report to the Senior Director of Global Product Marketing responsible for new product commercialization and thought leadership initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Create and own Beckman Coulter’s global marketing strategy and value propositions for Beckman Coulter’s Heme/UA solutions.
- Collaborate with the business unit, regional marketing, and cross functional colleagues to drive new product revenue associated with individual product launches and launch metrics outlined for launch excellence success.
- Lead a team of Global Product Marketers in the execution of Beckman Coulters new product Launch Excellence Process (LEx) which includes the development of the marketing plan, value proposition, claims matrix, segmentation, pricing, evidence planning and commercialization action plan.
- Work across teams and geographies to develop global marketing programs for new and existing segments and products with robust and creative go-to-market strategies
- Drive product evidence strategy, execution, and thought leadership initiatives
- Measure team success through daily management of key metrics/KPIs which may include lead generation; regional incremental revenue generation; market share by category by customer segment; team turnover and engagement. Apply problem solving process and countermeasures as needed to ensure target achievement.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 20+years’ related experience or Master’s degree with 18+years’ related experience
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of successful marketing experience with increasing responsibilities
- Related experience includes 6+ years of people leadership experience ideally in a matrix and global environment
- Deep understanding and experience in new product launch or market development practices in medical device, pharmaceutical or IVD industries
- Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, regulatory, reimbursement and patient pathways across multiple disease states
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-function global teams, influencing, developing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds to drive results
- Demonstrated people leadership skills; developing direct reports and others to sustain and succeed in professional growth
- Regional Marketing or Product Management experience
- Strong financial acumen and competencies
The salary range for this role is $210,000 - $230,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
