The Role The role is a high-level leadership position within the organization Thrasio, focusing on Global Services and the strategic incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation. The individual in this role collaborates with cross-functional teams and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to establish strategic plans, making key decisions on implementation and ensuring operational effectiveness. They are responsible for cascading AI and automation strategies, managing budgets and profitability within their functional area, and addressing complex issues using AI and automation solutions. This role requires proactive problem-solving, the translation of business strategies into actionable plans, and participation in the development of methods and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and personnel, with an emphasis on long-term impacts and measurable success. This leadership position plays a critical role in shaping the future of Thrasio, both within the organization and in its interactions with external partners. Responsibilities

  • Knowledge & Application
  • Participates with cross-functional and executive leadership team (ELT) management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
  • Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness with Global Services.
  • Cascades artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and business strategies that contribute to Global Services and Thrasio policies.
  • Manages the intra-department profitability and budgets for their functional area (tier 0-1-2, project management, insights, compliance, digital, etc.)
  • Complexity & Problem Solving
  • Works on systematic internal and/or external customer issues where problems are not clearly defined and applies AI and/or automation-based solutions to proactively prevent issues.
  • Translates business experience strategy into functional plans and guides execution using AI and automation.
  • Participates in Thrasio-wide development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
  • Manages budgets and schedules to meet Thrasio requirements
  • Discretion & Impact
  • Designs, implements, and manages innovative strategies with internal and external partners that utilize AI and automation, which are measurable against recognized benchmarks
  • Applies strategic thinking to ensure decisions will have a critical long term (typically up to five years) impact on the overall success of their department, Global Services, and Thrasio
  • Collaboration & Interaction
  • Interacts with ELT members, cross-functional directors and above, and external partners on strategy, organization, process, insights, technology, and culture initiatives
  • Composes personal views and/or multiple stakeholder views in comprehensive strategy documents
  • Management & Supervision
  • Directs the activities of an “experience” department by managing goals, performance, coaching employees, driving DEI+ engagement activities, and formal learning practices.
  • Leads a multi-discipline team to solve complex matters utilizing AI and/or automation

(For non-exempt roles, this reflects the expected base annual “salary” as calculated by the base hourly wage multiplied by the expected number of hours worked over a one year period, excluding any overtime and premiums). The actual base annual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the base annual salary range information set forth above is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed above may reflect that breadth. If offered a position, the actual base annual salary will be contained in your offer letter. In addition to the base annual salary listed above, this position is eligible for short-term [and long-term] incentive compensation, as well as benefits, which are subject to the applicable plans, policies and definitive documentation regarding such compensation and benefits.
