Position Summary

We are looking for a Director, National Accounts to direct/manage our national accounts within the OEM furniture and bedding industry.

This is a remote position with a 50% travel requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Meet assigned targets for sales volume, revenue, profitability, and strategic objectives
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, R&D and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Working closely with operations to support customer needs through various foam applications
  • Utilize company tools to collect market intelligence, contribute to the innovation process with product ideas and market opportunities
  • Support customers with processing of RFQs and other information requests in a timely manner
  • Complete reports in a timely manner
  • Business Development
    • Understand and develop products and solutions that are latent to the market.
    • Develop strategies to bring forward FXI technologies and know how that demonstrate value and sell features and benefits.
    • Engage and involve customers with internal resources in “concepts to products” process.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Four-year college degree in engineering, business, or communication
    • 5 - 10 years in strategic sales planning and key account management
    • Ability to manage and develop high volume national account programs
    • Demonstrated business development experience
    • Must be able to drive cost savings initiatives for customers
    • Must be able to collaborate with internal operations teams
    • Demonstrated ability to grow customer accounts while improving customer service
    • A high level of organizational skills and the ability to work remotely and independently
    • Strong customer relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are essential, along with attention to detail.
    • Must possess proficient computer skills and be capable in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Background in B2B sales and solution-based selling experience
    • Strong cross-functional team skills operating in a matrix environment and drive to succeed
    • 50% + travel

    Compensation: $130,000 to $160,000 + Bonus
