As the Director of Accounting, you will lead the accounting and administrative functions for a growing health care company, specializing in dialysis. This role will have high exposure to the CFO, with significant opportunity for professional growth & development.
Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process, including payroll, A/R, A/P and income.
Manage 3rd party relationships related to tax, audit and billing.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and allocations.
Work within a multi-subsidiary, multi-state environment.
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
Continuous process improvement, creates efficiencies and enhances current processes through leverage of technology & automation.
Support external audit processes & tax compliance.
Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures
Act as a financial liaison to multiple departments
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Lead a growing team, with direct reports
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
Continuous demonstration of curiosity and learning.
7+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and/or audit
Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required.
Experience with multiple state entities preferred, but not required.
Proficient knowledge of GAAP
Proficient knowledge of Excel
Strong attention to detail & willingness to challenge the status quo
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
Strong organizational, interpersonal communication, verbal & written skills.
Experience with ERP systems - NetSuite preferred, but not required.
