Director of Advisor Marketing

Scope

The Director – Advisor Marketing on our FIG All Points Media team leads the performance management of our Advisor Marketing team and the direction of our strategy, digital, and graphic design functions.

Accountabilities

Advisor Marketing Team

The construction, leadership, development, and performance management of the APM Advisor Marketing Team which includes marketing strategy, marketing coordination, internal team member performance and external client satisfaction. Design, introduction, and integration of cutting-edge marketing tactics. Identifying then managing Key Performance Indicators for our financial professional clients and their related businesses.

This is a supervisory position (direct management of 13-15 team members) therefore all Human Resource and Performance Management related responsibilities are assigned to the Director – Advisor Marketing.

Responsibilities

Advisor Marketing Team

  • Construct, implement, and report APM Advisor Marketing team related goals, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs). The internal APM Advisor Marketing team KPI’s should match or be relative to those of our agent/advisor clients.
  • Adopt, manage, and optimize APM Advisor Marketing team project delivery methodologies.
  • Create, implement, measure, and enhance APM Advisor Marketing team marketing & communication plan (e.g. utilizing social media and digital strategies to broadcast self and team as “authorities” in the IMO/FMO marketing space).
  • Deliver keynote presentations at FIG virtual and live coaching events.
  • Proactively participate in the FIG New Agent/Advisor Recruiting Initiative(s)
  • Generate innovative ideas for consideration and implementation.
  • Test, experiment, and redirect marketing tactics to maximize success.
  • Analyze and report marketing campaign performance to internal team members as well as clients

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, specifically in a consultative, project, or relationship management function.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience guiding either the marketing function at an Independent Financial Professionals’ office or within the IMO, Broker-Dealer, Insurance Agency industry.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-development skills to keep-up to date with fast-changing trends.
  • Driven, team player motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful project outcomes.
