Bedshe International, a leading player in the home textile sector with over 40 years of industry excellence, is looking for a talented Director of Brand Marketing to spearhead our Pet Division. Based in our vibrant New York office, you'll report directly to the head of our pet business unit and play a pivotal role in promoting our pet brands across the U.S., primarily through online channels.

Role Description

The Brand Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to grow our brand presence and increase sales across our primary channels, Amazon and TikTok Shop. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, a deep understanding of digital marketing, and a passion for pets.


This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in the NYC office. The successful candidate will be a dynamic go-getter and self-driven leader who seamlessly blends high-level strategic vision with hands-on execution, thriving on nurturing a team and driving them towards shared goals and success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement high-level marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Create annual marketing plans that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and analyze integrated marketing campaigns for key products. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Digital Marketing Management: Oversee all digital marketing activities, including content marketing, social media, influencer marketing, media relations and email marketing. Focus on optimizing our presence and sales performance on Amazon and TikTok Shop. Develop strategies for future sales channel expansion, including brand DTC and wholesale.
  • Content Creation and Management: Lead the creation of engaging and relevant content for various platforms. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials.
  • Market Research and Consumer Insights: Collaborate with the brand manager to conduct in-depth market research, gaining insights into customer needs, preferences, and emerging trends. Utilize these insights to shape marketing strategies and guide product development efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse marketing team, including a brand manager, copywriter, social media manager, influencer and partnerships managers, and a livestream manager. Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, driving the team towards shared goals.
  • Budget Management: Assume ownership of the marketing budget, meticulously allocating resources to maximize ROI and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant organizations and platforms to amplify brand reach and enhance credibility. This includes oversight of external PR firm activities and support in messaging and execution of key PR initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Brand Marketing Director or similar role in the pet industry or an e-commerce-first brand.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media platforms, particularly Amazon and TikTok.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible hours to join weekly late-night or early-morning calls with cross-functional teams located in China.
