Job Summary


The National Director of Brand & Product Marketing will collaborate with the VP of Marketing in the execution of marketing strategies to drive brand and product awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty across multiple channels. This role will be responsible for ensuring the consistent communication of brand messaging and visual identification, overseeing multi-state rollouts and campaigns, aligning regional marketing efforts with overall brand objectives, and developing market-competitive product portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale marketing initiatives and a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand positioning, and digital marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, goals, and market positioning.
  • Brand Management: Oversee brands’ implementation in marketplace(s) in accordance with brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Campaign Development: Lead the creation, execution, and analysis of multi-state marketing campaigns, including traditional, digital, and social media initiatives.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and integration of brand marketing efforts.
  • Agency and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Lead efforts to develop innovative and differentiated products that meet consumer needs and stand out in the market.
  • Product Development Strategy: Lead efforts to develop innovative and differentiated products that meet consumer needs and stand out in the market.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including packaging, labeling, and safety requirements. Stay current on cannabis regulations and industry standards to guide the development of compliant products.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing and/or product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing large budgets and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in cannabis retail/delivery, CPG, and/or technology, etc.
  • Experience with brand repositioning or rebranding initiatives.
