Forsite Renewables, LLC (www.forsiterenewables.com), founded in 2019, is a Charlotte-based, growing, and highly-capitalized firm, majority owned by Galway Sustainable Capital, that focuses on acquiring and siting renewable opportunities around legacy fossil fueled power plants. When partnered with Forsite Development, LLC (www.forsiteinc.com), who purchases and remediates brownfield real estate (including six coal-fired power plants to-date), the offering to the incumbent plant owner is turn-key services for remediation and power redevelopment.

Forsite Renewables has an established pipeline of development projects (21,500 acres and 3,400 MW (solar) + 1,600 MW (BESS)) currently being executed on with the land team working to rapidly expand the platform. Forsite is actively developing projects in Montana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Illinois and Maryland.

Forsite’s proven leadership team is seeking a Director of Business Administration to provide support for the day-to-day operations of the company. This role will report directly to the President and serve as his right-hand person to ensure projects and tasks are executed on time so that the President can work on the business.

Job Description: Forsite Renewables is seeking a Director of Business Administration that is highly motivated with exceptional communications skills. The ideal candidate will be a highly adaptive, on-the-job learner, that is continually forward thinking with the ability to turn goals into tasks and drive execution. This position will report to the President of Forsite Renewables and will help develop tasks, weed through details to determine the critical path and drive outcomes through the business lines. Experience developing work processes, procedures and efficiencies is a plus. The Forsite Renewables culture is an honest, tight knit team where everyone dives in to help, so assisting with accounting, finance, development and other miscellaneous tasks to keep the business moving forward will be a daily expectation. As the head of the spear on executing the daily functions of the organization, interacting with other senior and executive managers and understanding their needs will be critical for the successful candidate. An understanding of business and small company operations is preferred. A background in project management would be really helpful.

Below is a summary of expected responsibilities for the role:

1. Project Management

· An expert in processes, procedures, software, key performance indicators and meeting efficiency

· Serve as project manager for critical tasks or organizational changes

· Able to determine and set goals and tasks without direction of superiors, thrives in a lean, on-the-job training organization

2. Administration

· Understands and supports the accounting, finance, commercial, legal and project development organizations

· Keep the organization running efficiently, including support of HR, IT, accounting and payroll

3. Strategy

· Working knowledge of business contracts and general business processes

· Serve as an integral part of the executive leadership team helping drive operational excellence

· All employees are expected to bring ideas to management about adjacent businesses or ideas to pursue. his job will entail some strategic thinking based on understanding operations and providing creative ideas to maximize efficiency.

4. System and Project Development

· Drives efficiency and reduces the time the President works in the business, so that he may focus on the business

· Develop relationships with the department heads and their teams to provide support, understand their goals and drive efficiencies

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting or Finance

· 7+ years of experience as a project manager, engineering manager, chief of staff, operations or administration

· Strong operational background and the ability to communicate complex topics to a less technical audience

· Project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once

· Excellent project and people management skills with a highly organized approach

· Ability to flourish with minimal guidance; must be a proactive self-starter

· Skilled communicator, excellent at maintaining relationships

· Intellectually curious and problem-solving approach to business

· Motivated and capable researcher with strong interpersonal and analytical skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Preferred Skills:

· Six sigma certification or business efficiency training preferred
