The Business Development Manager performs duties to identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and grow business for DMCR
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Increasing client base
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Protects DMCR’s value by keeping information confidential
Enhances DMCR’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, sales or relevant field, required
Master’s degree in Business Administration, sales or relevant field, preferred
Experience:
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus

Clinical Research market knowledge
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain high-level relationships
Excellent planning and time-management skills
