Job Overview
We seek an experienced Director of Business Systems with a robust technical acumen and a passion for enhancing business operations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and implementing technology solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Experience with system migrations and maintaining data integrity through rigorous data cleanup, enrichment, and management processes (preferably focused on Salesforce) is required. In this role, you will be instrumental in the seamless integration and optimization of systems such as CRM, CPQ, CLM, ERP, and others. You will also be responsible for ensuring our business systems architecture & strategy is aligned with the company’s strategy and support the various strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
Systems Architecture, Migration, & Implementation
Own the Business Systems architecture strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment to organizational objectives and strategy.
Guide the implementation, integration, and deployment of key business systems, such as Dealhub and LinkSquares within our Salesforce environment.
Continuously assess the current state of the organization’s existing Business System infrastructure and software applications to identify gaps and areas that need improvement.
Spearhead the development and refinement of key initiatives such as customer and partner portals on Salesforce Experience Cloud, including feature prioritization and vendor management.
Lead the team responsible for administration of all major systems including Salesforce, Dealhub, all portals, and other Loftware systems.
Work with internal engineering team and external vendors to evaluate build vs. buy decision on key priorities.
In close collaboration with EVP, Operations Transformation, lead the technical piece of Loftware’s Business Operations Transformation initiative, driving initiatives to modernize our business systems architecture.
In collaboration with IT, evaluate new software requests / capability requests from the business, working with requestor to develop business case and evaluate alternatives.
Data Management and Integrity
Head initiatives for data cleanup, enrichment, and maintenance, ensuring its consistent reliability and business readiness.
Design and execute strategies to maintain data accuracy and relevance.
Leverage a range of integration tools and methods to facilitate interoperability.
System Migration Expertise
Helm system migration projects with an emphasis on data integrity, minimizing disruptions.
Develop and implement migration strategies suitable for diverse business scenarios, including company expansions and system overhauls.
Business Intelligence
Oversee business intelligence capability, ensuring a unified source of truth, seamless integration, and deep analytical capabilities.
Maintain and evolve executive ‘Insights dashboard’ within our Qlik BI tool, ensuring data is accurate and dashboard is reporting on the critical metrics which are needed to run the business efficiently.
Work with organizational leaders to develop and evolve operational dashboards and automate metrics gathering.
Team Leadership & Development
Foster, mentor, and drive a team of technical professionals and business system analysts.
Oversee projects ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
Nurture a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills
Documented success in system migrations, emphasizing strategic vision, execution, and problem-solving.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce, particularly the Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Solid grounding in contemporary technologies, architectures, and system integrations.
Demonstrable expertise in data management with a focus on data quality, enrichment, and ongoing maintenance.
Capability to oversee multiple, concurrent high-impact tech projects.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a similar field (or relevant experience).
