Bridgeway is a new kind of healthcare organization providing holistic treatment through addiction recovery, problem gambling treatment, mental health therapy, and primary medical care.

Position Purpose

The Director of Community Services oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based services for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services that promote recovery, resilience, and social inclusion.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and implementation of community services programs, including outreach, crisis intervention, and support groups.
  • Builds and develops relationships with key community partners, including Tribal Health Services.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions between levels of care.
  • Fosters partnerships with community organizations, advocacy groups, and healthcare providers.
  • Supervises and mentors program staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of community programs and services, making adjustments and improvements as necessary.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure that community services are integrated and aligned with overall organizational objects.
  • Represents the organization at community events, meetings, and forums, advocating for the needs of our clients and the community at large.
  • Analyzes program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Develops and manages program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
  • Stays informed about current trends and best practices in community-based behavioral health services and integrates new knowledge and innovations into our programs.

Minimum Qualifications And Credentials

  • Master's degree in behavioral health, social work, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health services, with 2+ years in leadership roles.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a wide range of individuals and groups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health issues and the needs of diverse communities.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, community resources, and healthcare systems.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives.

Compensation

  • Compensation will vary, depending on experience and credentials.
  • An additional stipend is available for Spanish/English bilingual employees.
