We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Corporate Finance to join our team and lead the strategic financial initiatives critical to our continued success. The Director of Corporate Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of argenx, with a primary focus on developing robust portfolio valuation models and enhancing corporate revenue forecasting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio valuation model to support various stakeholders across commercial, clinical, and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the build-out and refinement of corporate revenue modelling capabilities, enabling regional teams to forecast in a standardized and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the valuation of multiple assets, including using analyst reports to build revenue forecasts, compiling competitive landscape and conducting sensitivity analysis.
  • Ownership of long-range asset forecasts.
  • Provide strategic insights and analysis to inform decision-making processes related to portfolio management, resource allocation, and investment prioritization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of financial models and forecasting methodologies.
  • Act as a key liaison between finance, commercial, and clinical teams to facilitate effective communication and alignment of financial goals and priorities.


Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a corporate finance or strategic planning role within the biotech/pharma industry.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Finance, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • 3+ years in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated alignment with the cultural pillars of argenx, including a commitment to scientific excellence, innovation, and integrity.
