Location: Remote, Washington D.C., OKC OK
Salary: 120,000 to 130,000 DOE
Employment Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt
Reports To: Chief Development Officer
Position Summary
The Director of Corporate Relations will manage the Museum of the Bible’s portfolio of corporate donors, with a focus on securing new, annual sponsorships for the museum. The Director will concentrate on the discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate partnerships, with a goal of securing both restricted and unrestricted revenue to support Museum operations, events, and educational programs. This role will require an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strategic approach to corporate outreach, capable of securing at least $2,000,000 in sponsorship revenue annually. The Director will report directly to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and collaborate with cross-departmental teams to enhance corporate engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new corporate sponsors to expand the Museum’s corporate sponsorship portfolio
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing corporate partners, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement
- Work with the Development team and Museum colleagues to identify opportunities for corporate funding aligned with Museum initiatives
- Draft and submit sponsorship proposals to prospective partners, both online and independently
- Develop comprehensive stewardship plans for corporate sponsors, ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship benefits and recognition
- Collaborate with the Museum’s Marketing and Communications departments to ensure corporate sponsors receive appropriate visibility and brand recognition
- Develop and manage sponsorship collateral, ensuring all materials reflect the Museum’s mission and goals
- Present corporate partnership updates and success stories to the Museum's Board of Trustees
- Maintain accurate records of all sponsorship activities and proposals using Salesforce/CRM tools
- Support Museum events by securing sponsorships and in-kind contributions to enhance programming
- Contribute to the Museum's annual corporate fundraising strategy
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Knowledge
- GED or HS Diploma Required, Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred
- 3 to 5 Years of Experience, Religious Non Profit preferred
