The Role

We're seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Customer Success to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing customer success, driving renewals for a $10MM+ book of business, and facilitating cross-departmental communication to support our sales and operations teams' goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of customer success managers, overseeing the upsell and renewal of 150+ clients
  • Develop and implement customer success strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
  • Drive account management practices to strengthen client relationships and grow accounts
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to track customer interactions and optimize client engagement
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to forecast trends and identify expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to enhance the customer journey
  • Partner with event operations on all aspects of event preparation
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the CS team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics
  • Report regularly on sales performance and customer success metrics to senior management

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in client success or senior sales management, preferably in the events industry
  • Expertise in using HubSpot CRM for sales and marketing automation
  • 4+ years of team management experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for conferences, client meetings, and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Familiarity with Airtable and Apollo or similar lead identification tools

Compensation

  • Base salary: $135,000
  • Additional bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commission
  • First-year total compensation expectation: $200,000 - $250,000
