Job Summary:

Naadam is seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and results-driven Director of eCommerce to lead our eCommerce team! Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and working closely with the Naadam Marketing team, you will manage all aspects of the online customer experience, our eCommerce site, and Shopify storefronts. With the support of the eCommerce Manager, you’ll play a key role in executing digital growth, implementing customer retention strategies, and driving both front-end and back-end digital solutions. This role will place you at the heart of a growing business and offers unparalleled strategic business experience in an evolving eCommerce and retail landscape. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the product roadmap to drive technology-enabled improvements that scale, transform the customer experience, and support marketing strategies
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute website enhancements and development with 3rd party vendors, recommending “smart” technologies with a test-and-prove approach
  • Manage external web development agency relationships to implement the roadmap, oversee site specifications, report bugs and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Support, and Operations) to understand needs and requirements for the site
  • Work with the brand marketing teams to determine and build out new collection and product landing pages
  • Oversee customer experience activities, including content setup, merchandising, and product management within Netsuite and Shopify
  • Ensure data integrity and compatibility between Shopify and NetSuite platforms
  • Identify and recommend new technologies and software to enhance digital experiences
  • Maintain optimal website performance, speed, and maintain website hosting security; report and troubleshoot issues and test fixes
  • Identify conversion rate optimization opportunities for an improved customer experience
  • Audit website for accuracy in product, content, and functionality, managing internal error reporting and resolution
  • Monitor and achieve brand KPIs, with a focus on conversion rate
  • Maintain and analyze reporting for key KPIs, traffic, and user behavior
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize site performance
  • Use analytics to optimize site merchandising in coordination with digital marketing
  • Benchmark e-commerce and D2C models against competitors, recommending improvements
  • Contribute to Amazon 1P assortment management, including storefront and catalog

  • Highly adaptable to constantly changing digital environments and capable of thriving in dynamic settings


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 8+ years of related experience, including 5-7 years in developing, launching, and maintaining DTC e-commerce websites.
  • Advanced experience with Shopify Plus required
  • Excellent Excel and reporting skills
  • Netsuite or relevant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience a plus
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and digital KPIs.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Stores is a plus.
  • Experience in leading solution delivery efforts with an external development team
  • Interest and knowledge of the online retail industry, especially apparel and sustainability
  • Experience with forecasting and reporting site metrics, such as traffic and conversion
