Camp Woodie, Camp Leopold and Outdoor Heritage Events

The South Carolina Waterfowl Association is seeking a high-performing camping professional to provide management and leadership for the nation’s leading wildlife conservation education center. The candidate must have a passion for wildlife conservation, outdoor recreation, and R3 education. Core programs include Camp Woodie (summer camp), Camp Leopold (school year environmental education), and Outdoor Heritage Events (parent/child hunting and fishing weekends). On-site programs are hosted at our beautiful 1,600-acre Wildlife Education Center located near Lake Marion. The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in camp operations, leadership, management, and a strong understanding of the American Camp Association standards and the R3 movement. Responsibilities include staff management, program development and oversight, safety and risk management, program budgets and fiscal management and business and strategic planning. Responsible for promoting a positive work culture with a camper-focused environment. Develop recruitment and retention strategies to ensure enrollment stays strong and growing. This is a full-time, exempt position, including a 6% retirement match, an annual incentive bonus plan of up to 15% of salary, and company vehicle usage. Salary Range $110,000 - $120,000 | Housing is not provided | ACA Accredited
