Director of Enterprise Platform and Portfolio Management

As the Director of Enterprise Platform and Portfolio Management, you will spearhead the development of a new knowledge management platform and enterprising tooling. You will also lead continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product portfolio management practices across the enterprise. This role is essential for innovating how we manage and disseminate information, ensuring our knowledge is authored and managed effectively using content management platforms like Sitecore or Contently. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a cutting-edge knowledge management platform tailored to enterprise needs. 
  • Define and standardize SDLC processes to enhance software development practices and outcomes across the enterprise. 
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive product portfolio management strategy that aligns with our company goals and strategy. 
  • Champion the selection, development and rollout of an enterprise knowledge management system leveraging technology such as Sitecore or Adobe Experience Manager, to streamline content authoring, review, approval, publishing and decommissioning across multiple channels. 
  • Collaborate with IT, marketing, and business units to ensure that platform solutions meet functional and strategic needs. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in platform capabilities and portfolio management practices to stay ahead of technological advances and business requirements. 
  • Facilitate training and development for team members and stakeholders on new systems and processes to ensure widespread understanding and adoption. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred. 
  • Extensive experience in leading enterprise-level platform development and portfolio management. 
  • Demonstrated success in startups from 0-1 and scaleups from 1 to many. 
  • Proficient in implementing content management systems such as Sitecore or Contently through a headless API. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects. 
  • Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with senior management, technical teams, and external partners effectively.
