As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will be an integral part of our company's financial leadership, playing a critical role in shaping our fiscal strategies. You will be responsible for managing the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis. Working closely with the CFO and other executives, you will be pivotal in strategic decision-making, providing financial insights, recommendations, and risk assessments that guide our business objectives. Your experience in commercial and federal markets will be essential in navigating the unique financial requirements of each sector.
You will be leading a high-performing FP&A team, encouraging continuous learning and fostering a culture of excellence. You will set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and guide your team's professional development. Compliance will also be a key part of your role, ensuring that our financial operations adhere to all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities Include
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, focusing on sustainable growth.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to help guide key business decisions.
- Manage the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic fiscal planning and financial scenario modeling.
- Supervise the Finance department's FP&A team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in profitability and performance against budget.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial and operational results to the organization and support the CFO in presentations to stakeholders including Investors.
- Develop a robust financial risk management process, identifying potential areas of risk and implementing preventive measures.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in the commercial and federal markets, with an understanding of the unique financial requirements of each.
- Proven experience in financial strategy development, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of developing sophisticated models through the use of Excel or other tools while working with various data sets from across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
